Weekend Update

Getting back into the school grind has me a little behind on my blogging. Luckily, we've had a nice long weekend to catch up! 

The snow this week was beautiful, but after a month of rain I was happy that it was short lived. Here is our backyard and an antsy Rosie ready to see some sun!

Luckily, by Saturday the sun finally decided to visit Birmingham. Jackson and I spent the day with friends in Columbiana shooting skeet. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of us shooting but we had the best time.

Sunday after church we decided to take Rosie to Jemison to enjoy the sunshine and hopefully release some of her pent up energy. I took my new camera to practice using manual mode after my camera class last weekend. I can't wait to get better and collect a few lenses.

Rosie loves the water and couldn't wait to get in and play.

Happy Birthday, My Husband

On this day 27 years ago my best friend was born in Ozark, Alabama. I'm so lucky that we met in the middle in Birmingham and decided to spend the rest of our birthdays together. Happy Birthday, Jackson! I love you with all of my heart.
